About the project.
Kicks4Kids is a project to give kids a new pair of shoes. To provide the kids a new pair of sneakers, we visit the most vulnerable neighborhoods of Medellin to go door-to-door so we can register the age, shoe size and life circumstances. After we registered a certain amount of kids we set a date and location where they can collect their new pair of quality shoes.
Why this project?
Especially at a young age it is important that good shoes are worn. Young feet are very fragile and have yet to grow. Many foot problems that arise at a later age are caused by wearing bad shoes as a child.
Our mission.
Our mission is that, one day, every child in the most vulnerable neighborhood of Medellin gets his new pair of shoes allowing them the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
How to donate?
For only €10 / $12 we provide one pair of new sneakers. Besides that we give the donor the option to leave a kind or motivational message that we write down on a card that comes with the the sneakers. We noticed that this makes the kids feel special that they receive a personal message from someone on the other side of the world.
